Meet Father Aaron,
Our New Rector
The Reverend Aaron Jay Evans became our Priest-in-charge in the fall of 2013 and St. John’s called him to be our Rector in the fall of 2014. He was born in Texas and raised in Texas and Arkansas. He majored in religion and received his Bachelor of Arts degree from East Texas Baptist University in Marshall Texas in 1999. In 2004 he received Master of Arts in Liberal Studies at Valparaiso University in Valparaiso, Indiana. His Masters of Divinity was matriculated from The School of Theology, University of the South, Sewanee, Tennessee in 2008.
Fr. Aaron’s ministerial duties have included being Youth Pastor, Coordinator of Christian Education, Extended Supply Priest, and Supply Priest at Churches in Texas, Indiana, Tennessee, and Louisiana. Most recently, he was the Rector at Trinity Episcopal Church in Grand Ledge, Michigan.
Fr. Aaron is married to the Reverend Rachael Evans and they have a young daughter, Esther.

Our Retired Rector
After nine eventful years of faithful service to St. John’s, Meredith Hunt retired on July 1st, 2013.
