St. John's Bell Tower Directions to the church Sturgis is located halfway between Chicago and Detroit and just north of the Indiana/Michigan state line. We are five minutes north of the Indiana Road (I 80/90). The church is in the downtown business district. The center of downtown is the corner of Nottawa Street (Hwy M66) and Chicago Road (Hwy 12). St. John's is located one block south and two blocks west of that central point.
Approaching from the west on US12 Go to the second stop light. This will be the intersection of Chicago Road and Clay Street. Turn south (right) and go one-half block. You will see the church parking lot on your left. Approaching from the east on US12 go to the fourth stop light. This will be the intersection of Chicago Road and Clay Street. Turn south (left) and go one-half block. You will see the church parking lot on your left. Approaching from the north on M66 (Nottawa Street) go to the intersection of M66 and US12 (Chicago Road). Turn right and go two blocks to Clay Street. Turn south (left) and go one-half block. You will see the church parking lot on your left. Approaching from the south, Indiana Highway 9 becomes M66 at the state line. At the Sturgis city limits the highway is called Centerville Road. Continue northbound until it intersects with US12 (Chicago Road). Turn east (right). The next stoplight you come to will be the intersection of Chicago Road and Clay Street. Turn south (right) and go one-half block. You will see the church parking lot on your left. The church is barrier free.
